CHELSEA READY TO SIGN ANOTHER AJAX’S STAR

 

Per reports in the English media, Chelsea are set to make an offer for Ajax fullback Nicolas Tagliafico. It is widely expected that manager Frank Lampard would strengthen the left-back position with current options Marcos Alonso and Emerson Palmieri set to be sold in the summer. Lamoard has said in the past that he does not see the duo in his long term plan for the club.

Leicester defender Ben Chilwell is regarded as the first choice for the Blues but there are indications that he could be too expensive with the Foxes valuing the defender at around £70 million. This could force the club to look for less expensive options and Tagliafico has been identified as the perfect fit for the club.

MANCHESTER CITY WOULD LOVE TO SIGN EVANS

Manchester City would love to sign Leicester City and former Manchester United defender Johnny Evans according to Greame Souness. He advised the Citizens to make a summer bid for the Northern Ireland defender and he will be a valuable addition to their backline.
